Jarosław Krajka is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland. His primary research interests include Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), digital teacher development, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence in language instruction. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the international journal Teaching English with Technology (TEWT). Professor Krajka has authored numerous publications, including The Language Teacher in the Digital Age (2012), and is a recognised expert in technology-mediated language learning and intercultural communication.

Russell Stannard trains language teachers worldwide in the use of technology. His popular YouTube channel has over 85,000 subscribers. He continually evaluates the impact of AI tools on language education and provides companies with consultancy and guidance on developing technologies for language teaching. Russell won the British Council ELTons Award and the Times Higher Award for his work in language education and technology. He worked as a Principal Teaching Fellow in Educational Technology at various UK universities before going freelance in 2014.

Tara Seekins, in addition to holding teaching and school leadership positions in the San Francisco Bay Area, has worked as a lecturer in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley and as an instructor in the Prison University Project at San Quentin State Prison. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Classics and English Literature from Smith College. Then, she received her Master’s degree and Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Last year she worked at the University of Rzeszów, and this year she has been employed in MCWE in Opole within the English Language Fellowship.

Alicja Wujec-Kaczmarek is an experienced English teacher specialising in introducing information and communication technologies into language teaching. She holds a scholarship from the U.S. Department of State and has completed numerous methodological courses at home and abroad. She has been employed at Opole University and secondary schools in Opole. She works as an English language consultant at the Municipal Teacher Training Centre in Opole, where, for the last 15 years, she has designed and run teachers’ training courses on teaching English as a foreign language and ICT in teaching.

Aleksandra Szymańska, PhD, is an English teacher and lecturer working with students of different ages. She is a reviewer and author of exam papers for CKE and a co-author of the Matura Repetytorium published by PWN and Cambridge University Press. She is involved in Erasmus Plus projects incorporating multicultural cooperation. Engaged in introducing technology into the classroom, she is constantly inspired by AI’s new functionalities. 

Dorota Kaminska, MA, is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Opole. There, she teaches practical English language skills, English for specific purposes, and English teaching methodology classes. Her research interests include CLIL and the use of ICT tools in language teaching.
